Rebecca Lerwill was born and raised in Germany. Following her completion of college, Rebecca became a trainer of dressage horse and composed articles for magazines in her profession. She relocated to the United States in 1995. Through much traveling she became more inspired to write.

Scissors' Edge
boldly she snaps
until hardened steel connects.
mangled flesh is not the only wound.
Pain.
There is no way around it --
unavoidable,
so I square up to meet
my destiny and faithfully
stride on.
